Merchant Warehouse and VeriFone Enter PartnershipJun 29, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Merchant Warehouse announced a partnership with VeriFone Systems, Inc. as a hardware provider for the Genius platform. According to a release, earlier this month Merchant Warehouse launched Genius, an acceptance solution with the ability to aggregate and integrate every conceivable transaction technology, payment type and customer engagement program. The Company reported that Genius incorporates all payment and customer engagement alternatives through a merchant configurable Customer Engagement Device (CED) that displays the payment and program options and accepts NFC, EMV, QR codes as well as loyalty, gift, and rewards programs. Genius software will be pre-loaded onto VeriFone's new MX 915 device, which features a clear 4.3" display and accepts EMV, NFC and PIN payments. "A key feature of the Genius platform is the Customer Engagement Device, which is a customer facing countertop device that provides complete flexibility and customization for the merchant," said Henry Helgeson, co-CEO, Merchant Warehouse.
