Murphy and Jim Duggan, June 5, 2012). A total of 16 providers were evaluated in the report with five being named a leader. Gartner states that due to the maturity of the cloud and Agile technologies, the ALM market is evolving and expanding. The research firm believes the ALM market, estimated at $1.5 billion for 2011, and will continue to grow at a compound annual rate of about 3.9 percent. Portions of the market will remain stronger than others. Of the products in this Magic Quadrant, much of the growth is in the Agile planning category.
