Phoenix Audio Technologies Launches New IP Capabilities for Quattro3 Tabletop Conference Speakerphone at InfoComm 2012

Jun 18, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Phoenix Audio Technologies, a developer of audio communication solutions for Voice Over IP (VoIP), Web conferencing, distance learning, and video conferencing applications, said it is introducing IP capabilities to its Quattro3 tabletop conference speakerphone.

According to a release, the new Quattro3 MT305 (Q3 MT305), which made its InfoComm 2012 debut, combines the Quattro3 USB with the MT305 SIP/IP telephone, supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE).

A conference speakerphone that can turn virtually any space into a professional-sounding conference room, Phoenix Audio Technologies noted, the Q3 MT305 can now fit into any facility's existing IP-based infrastructure, including schools, boardrooms and government facilities. Able to connect to any computer, and compatible with most SIP/IP phone service providers, the MT305 has the ability to gain power through the Ethernet cable (in those environments with an infrastructure that supports PoE).

"As the world continues to move toward an IP-based infrastructure, we felt the time was right to introduce an IP-capable speakerphone, the Q3 MT305, to our lineup," says Joseph Marash, CEO, Phoenix Audio Technologies. "The MT305 is an important product that enables offices that use IP phone systems to integrate one of our solutions into their system. And as businesses continue to migrate towards IP phone systems, we will continue to move forward as well and provide our customers with innovative solutions that offer high performance, cost savings and an overall improved audio conferencing experience." Additional features include full-duplex communications, a four-microphone beam-forming array, echo canceling, noise suppression, de-reverb capabilities and automatic gain control.
