The company said that Informatica HParser is available to all Amazon EMR customers and provides access to data parsing, hierarchical data mapping and transformation tools to help organisations find value in their data using skills and resources they have today. Leveraging Hadoop framework on Amazon EMR, customers can easily provision the resources they need for their analytics pipelines, without large capital investment or complex software configuration, paying only for the resources they consume. The advantages of HParser on EMR include: commercial support for parsing and transforming data; ability to handle complex datasets and transformations using Hadoop in the cloud; visual IDE for testing out-of-the-box parsers and developing custom parsers; and rapid building, testing and provisioning of Hadoop data processing pipelines.
