Windstream (WIN) Crosses Pivot Point Support at $9.24


Jun 08, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Shares of Windstream (NASDAQ:WIN) opened today below their pivot of $9.31 and have already reached the first level of support at $9.24. Should the shares continue to fall, the support pivots of $9.18 and $9.05 will be of interest.

Potential upside of 24.7% exists for Windstream, based on a current level of $9.27 and analysts' average consensus price target of $11.56. The stock should find initial resistance at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $10.60 and further resistance at its 200-day MA of $11.66.

Windstream share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $13.57 and a 52-week low of $9.00 and are now trading 3% above that low price at $9.27 per share. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has fallen 2.1% while the 200-day MA has slid 0.4%.
