Tomorrowish Named MassChallenge FinalistMay 30, 2012 - Cambridge, MA - Tomorrowish, (www.tomorrowish.com) the first DVR for social media, announced today that the company has been named a finalist in MassChallenge, the world’s largest startup competition. Of the 1,237 startups who applied to the MassChallenge 2012 Accelerator Program, 125 startups were accepted as Finalists. “We are thrilled to be finalists in MassChallenge,” said Mick Darling, CEO, Tomorrowish. “While I did the initial presentation, it was all of our work as a team to get a working product used by paying clients that got us into the program. We’ve been building our technology and customer base for over a year. This opportunity will help us continue to build our business and benefit from the energy, mentoring and innovation of other startups in the incubator program.” As MassChallenge finalists, Tomorrowish will be afforded the benefits of the MassChallenge incubator, including office space in the Fan Pier Innovation District, pairing with mentors and education sessions at a startup boot camp. In October, MassChallenge will award $1 million in prizes to several finalists. Cambridge-based Tomorrowish launched in March 2011. Tomorrowish curates the social media content associated with TV shows, advertisements, conferences, films, political events and more. The Social TV product stands alone from all the others since Tomorrowish allows for viewing time-shifted content so that fans can participate any time and never miss the social media conversation.
