Ajit Kulkarni Joins Nexant's Grid Management Business Unit [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Nexant, Inc. announced that Dr. Ajit Kulkarni has joined its Grid Management business unit in the company's Sacramento, Calif., office. In a release on May 17, the Company said Kulkarni previously held senior positions at Navigant, R.W. Beck, and Ventyx. At Nexant, he will assume responsibility for leading electric power project feasibility and system improvement studies. For over 25 years, Kulkarni has focused on solving many of the energy industry's unique issues involving nodal/LMP analysis, congestion/curtailment, unit commitment and dispatch, production costing, optimal power flow, power flow, interconnections, NERC compliance, integrated resource planning, financial transmission rights and congestion revenue rights analysis, screening and feasibility studies, and system impacts.
