Petroleum Merchants Deploy AJB Software Design Solutions for EMV Payments

May 24, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- AJB Software Design, Inc., a company focused on integrated payment solutions, announced at the NACStech conference, that it has completed more than 100 EMV Chip and PIN integrations with petroleum retailers and other merchants throughout Canada and the United Kingdom.

AJB assists merchants to certify EMV transactions; reducing fraudulent transactions at the pump, lowering PCI compliance costs, and enhancing customer service.

In a release on May 21, AJB said its FIPay (Flexible Integrated Payment System) software provides merchants with the ability to enable an EMV transaction, and is the foundation for enabling EMV transactions on hardware already located at merchants locations. AJB's EMV software applications are PA-DSS certified allowing solutions to meet all aspects of the EMV security standard. FIPay enables merchants to connect locations, banks and other points of service components in the payment authorization process.

"We make it easy for retailers to adapt to new payment technologies and market changes, including the need for merchants to migrate from magnetic stripe cards to EMV chip and PIN based transactions," said Pat Polillo, Vice President Sales at AJB. "AJB's extensive experience with EMV adoption provides customers with expert knowledge that allows us to implement EMV solutions in the most efficient manner possible." "AJB is a dependable organization with a proven track record, demonstrating nimbleness and exceptionally fast time to market," said Tomas Levi, Director of Global Payment Planning and Strategy at Gilbarco Veeder-Root. "AJB listens to its customers. Once we provided training and information about our solution they were able to implement EMV with minimal support, while adding substantial value to Gilbarco and our customers."
