Vmware, Inspur Co-release Cloud Computing PlanBEIJING, May 23, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Vmware and Inspur signed a memo of understanding (MOU) on strategic cooperation on May 23 to co-provide Chinese clients with local cloud computing plans and Inspur's In-cloud OS and VMware's virtualization and other technologies will achieve seamless supports. VMware said the two parties will conduct vigorous promotion in hotspot and potential fields of cloud computing, such as regional cloud computing centers, health and public security in 2012 and planned to set up above five typical customers this year. In-cloud OS, the first cloud data center operating system released by Inspur last year, supports the online expansion of hardware and is able to manage above 5,000 servers simultaneously, pool above 50,000-TB storage space, and support above 50,000 virtual resource nodes and ongoing resource evolution.
