Tone Software's ReliaTel VoIP and UC management solution compliant with Avaya

May 23, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Tone Software Corporation, a provider of comprehensive voice quality and network monitoring and management software for converged telecommunications and IT infrastructures, has announced that its ReliaTel VoIP and UC management solution is compliant with key small to midsize collaboration solutions from Avaya, a provider of business collaboration systems, software and services.

The ReliaTel solution is a complete service assurance platform that helps managed service providers and enterprises proactively manage VoIP QoS, SIP Trunks, and UC network performance to meet their service level agreements, increase operations efficiency, lower costs, and drive higher communications ROI.

The application is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya IP Office 8.0, using the Avaya IP Office SNMP interface to collect, store, and present alarm information through the ReliaTel alarm monitoring screen.

ReliaTel monitors and manages faults, performance, voice quality, and capacity across any combination of VoIP and UC servers and gateways, voice and data network components, TDM PBXs and call center devices through a unified management platform.

ReliaTel provides a highly-scalable solution to remotely manage IP Office environments, as well as larger voice and data networks, while also lowering operations costs and increasing the effectiveness of the client support teams responsible for SLA compliance, said Avaya.

"Technology partners like Tone Software are helping Avaya offer customers of all sizes strong, standards-based communications solutions that fit their business needs and provide significant opportunities to improve both business processes and customer engagement," said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations, Avaya. "As a result, companies can confidently invest in communications technologies at any stage of business development, knowing those investments will continue to deliver ROI as their business grows and expands." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
