CareerBliss Announces the Ten Happiest Companies for Veterans for 2012

CareerBliss, the leading online career community empowering people to find happier jobs with 3 million open jobs and salary info on CareerBliss.com, announces new data highlighting The 10 Happiest Companies for Veterans for 2012. Based on tens of thousands of job postings that require both a military background and happy employee reviews to qualify, CareerBliss' 2^nd annual list of the happiest places to work for U.S. Veterans shows that companies that specialize in technology often yield the happiest work environments for those with a military background. Leading the way is Dell (News - Alert) Corporation, followed by wireless provider Sprint, with 3M ranking third and Intel rounding out the list.

Methodology used to find the Top 10:

CareerBliss data evaluate the key factors that affect work happiness including work-life balance, one's relationship with his/her boss and co-workers, work environment, job resources, compensation, growth opportunities, company culture, company reputation, daily tasks, and job control over the work performed on a daily basis. The data account for how an employee values each factor as well as how important that factor is to the employee's overall happiness. Each review is given an average score indicating where the company places between one and five. All 2,500 assessments are derived from April 2011 - April 2012 employee generated reviews. The CareerBliss data also analyzed tens of thousands of job opportunities at companies that require military experience, ranking the top 10 companies with the highest number of job openings and highest bliss rating.
