Pipeline Recognizes Finalists for the 2012 Innovation Awards

According to a release, of the over 70 companies that were nominated this year, a select group of finalists have been identified and presented to Pipeline's exclusive industry judging panel for final voting. The 2012 Innovation Award judging panel is a consortium comprised of key executives from service providers around the world such as AT&T, BT, Cox, Intelsat, TELUS, Turkcell, and Yota, as well as influential industry analysts.

The 2012 Innovation Award categories and their finalists are: Product Innovation: Recognizes the most innovative new product, release, or feature. The finalists for this category are: -Subex -JDSU Technical Innovation: Recognizes those that develop and leverage emerging technologies. The finalists for this category are: -JDSU -Ontology Systems -Tekelec Innovations in Networking: Recognizes network innovations and advancements in network technologies including policy, security, traffic management and more. The finalists for this category are: -InfoVista -Tail-f Systems Advanced Connectivity: Recognizes advancements in connected vehicles, enterprises, homes, and machine-to-machine technology (M2M). The finalists for this category are: -Orga Systems -Alvarion Cloud Innovation: Recognizes innovations in Cloud technology. The finalists for this category are: -Redknee -Transverse Innovations in CEM: Recognizes innovations that contribute to an improved end-customer experience. The finalists for this category are: -Comptel Corp.

-Subex Best Deployment: Recognizes the most innovative customer deployment based upon creative solutions and tangible return-on-investment (ROI). The finalists for this category are: -CSG International -Orga Systems Best Ecosystem: Recognizing partnerships, ecosystems, and programs that drive and promote innovation. The finalists for this category are: -Microsoft -Cisco Most Innovative Company: Recognizes companies that embrace innovation throughout their organization. The finalists for this category are: -SAPO (Portugal Telecom NYSE: PT) -Tekelec The 2012 Innovation Award winners will be announced on Monday, May 21, at an exclusive awards reception in Dublin, Ireland. A special Editor's Choice award will also be presented to one of the award nominees at the awards reception. The nominee for this category isn't required to be a finalist in any other category.
