Invesco Advisers Closed-End Funds Report $220.5M Placement of Private OfferingsMay 16, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Invesco Advisers, Inc. announced that each of the Invesco and Invesco Van Kampen closed-end funds listed below has successfully priced and placed a private offering of Variable Rate Muni Term Preferred Shares (VMTP) pursuant to an offering exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933. These redemptions are anticipated to be funded with cash and proceeds received from the issuance of VMTP.
