UnboundID Opens UK Office to Expand Into Europe

UnboundID (News - Alert), a leading platform provider for identity services, today announced the opening of its new office in London to facilitate its business development and sales operations throughout the U.K. and Europe. UnboundID recognized and seized the opportunity to expand its growth into EMEA markets in order to increase sales and adoption of its identity services platform in other global markets and better meet the needs of its customers.

To manage daily operations, UnboundID hired Matthew Hemming, a seasoned IT managing director with 23 years of experience at the management level working with leading technology services and solutions providers. Hemming will be responsible for creating and executing new sales strategies for U.K. and Europe, as well as building out the European sales team. He also will coordinate expansion into target vertical markets, including telecom and financial servces.

Hemming has led sales teams in the European, South American, African and Middle Eastern markets. He previously worked as managing director of Northern Europe for Motive, Inc. (now owned by Alcatel-Lucent (News - Alert)), a provider of network manageability and serviceability solutions to telecommunications companies. Prior to Motive, he served as Trilogy's vice president of sales for Europe and client services and later moved to 535X as its managing director.
