TM Forum Releases Finalists for Excellence Awards 2012

Apr 16, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- As service providers around the world prepare to converge on Management World 2012 (Dublin, Ireland, May 21-24), a communications industry annual gathering, TM Forum announced the 24 finalists for its Excellence Awards.

According to a release, the finalists, chosen from 75 nominees by an impartial judging panel, represent the leading and most innovative companies in the industry. TM Forum will announce the Excellence Awards winners at Management World 2012 in front of a VIP audience on Monday, May 21.

Now in its sixth year, the Excellence Awards honor service providers and industry suppliers that demonstrate commitment to industry transformation through innovation underpinned by TM Forum's Frameworx suite of standards.


The 2012 Excellence Awards finalists are: TM Forum Operational Excellence Award - Awarded to the communications service provider demonstrating the most innovative and effective use of TM Forum's Frameworx to deliver tangible cost reduction, efficiency improvement and operational agility.

-BSkyB -China Mobile -Deutsche Telekom -Ericsson -Telekom Malaysia Berhad -Telstra TM Forum Solution Excellence Award - Awarded to the supplier or system integrator demonstrating the most innovative and effective use of TM Forum's Frameworx to deliver tangible cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

-ConceptWave Software -HP -Huawei -Infosys -NetCracker Technologies -Oracle TM Forum Business Innovation Award - Awarded to the communications service provider demonstrating the most innovative and successful new service or business model.

-Hughes Telematics -Mobily -Portugal Telecom -Reliance Communications -TOA Technologies -Vodafone Ireland TM Forum Industry Leadership Award - Awarded to the member company demonstrating leadership, dedication and commitment to TM Forum's collaboration activities, and the uptake of TM Forum's standards and best practices.

-Amdocs -Ericsson -The MITRE Corp.
