General Cable announces acquisition of Delphia Produtos Eletricos Ltda in Brazil and expands into South AmericaApr 13, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- General Cable Corporation (NYSE:BGC), ignition wire harness technology company, declared the acquisition of Delphia Produtos Eletricos Ltda in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil for an undisclosed amount. Additionally, the company said that Delphia is a manufacturer of automotive ignition wire harnesses and the business will continue to operate as Delphia under the General Cable Automotiva Brasil umbrella, adding that reported revenues in 2011 were about USD20m.
