Frontier Silicon Launches the Venus 2i Bluetooth Audio Platform at the Hong Kong Electronics FairHONG KONG --(Business Wire)-- Frontier Silicon, the leading supplier of digital radio and internet audio solutions announces the launch of Venus 2i-BT (News - Alert) bringing Bluetooth music streaming to DAB/DAB+ radios. The addition of Bluetooth connectivity to the Frontier DAB platform develops the widely adopted Venus 2i platform into a fully featured solution for wireless docking systems with the benefit of digital and FM radio as an additional audio source. The Venus 2i-BT presents the most versatile, scalable and cost effective DAB plus Bluetooth platform available. Venus2i-BT utilises the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) to allow wireless Bluetooth transmission of stereo audio from an A2DP source (typically a phone or computer) to its audio system.
