Lenovo Group's PC shipments surge 28 pct on yr in Q1, GarnterBEIJING, Apr 12, 2012 (Xinhua via COMTEX) -- PC shipments of China's biggest PC maker the Lenovo Group (00992.HK; LNVGY.PK) increased 28 percent year on year in the first quarter of this year, according to statistics released Thursday by Gartner. Lenovo Group's share in world PC market by shipment thus reached 13.1 percent in the first quarter, as compared with 10.4 percent a year ago. Hewlett-Packard remained world's biggest PC maker, with a market share of 17.2 percent in the first quarter, and Dell ranked the third with a market share of 11 percent.
