Teen beaten up for sharing photos of friend's sister [Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates)]

(Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AJMAN Four Arab teenage friends kidnapped and beat up a friend and recorded his video in nude because he clicked the photos of a sister of one of them with a mobile phone camera and shared them with his friends, a court heard today.

The complainant suffered permanent disability because of the allegedassault. The defendants, aged between 14 and 18, denied the charges before the Ajman Court of First Instance. The court adjourned the hearing to another date for hearing the testimonies of the victim and others.

According to the police records, the group of four teenagers and the victim all friends were engaged in a fight one day in January this year. The accused claimed that the victim harassed a sister of one of them by luring her to his house and taking her photographs on a mobile phone camera. He sent the photographs to his friends' phones via Bluetooth.


The complainant told the police that the four kidnapped and assaulted him. They recorded his naked video and also threatened to kill him if he informed the police.

He was later freed by the group and he lodged a complaint against his friends at the nearest police station. He gave the police their names and addresses. The police arrested all four and referred them to the Public Prosecution which charged them with kidnapping, assaulting, detaining and sexually harassing the complainant and also causing him permanent disability.
