EffectiveUI Promotes Ken Guiberson to CTO


Apr 05, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- EffectiveUI, a user experience agency, created the new role of Chief Technology Officer that will be filled immediately by current executive Ken Guiberson.

In a release, the Company noted that as CTO, the former Kodak engineer will be responsible for the overall technology vision of EffectiveUI, including managing the Technology Services team, a group of technologists that, along with EffectiveUI's Customer Insight and Design teams, deliver creative and humanizing software to its Fortune 500 clients.



Guiberson will also play an essential role in working with its clients' corporate technology executives on their digital experience strategies.

Guiberson joined EffectiveUI in February of 2006 and is currently the Rochester, N.Y. office's General Manager. Prior, Guiberson was a software engineer at Kodak where he led the user interface development of the Flash-based, WiFi-enabled digital camera. Before Kodak, Guiberson served four years in the United States Army as a Nuclear Medical Science Officer.
