Apr 03, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
RadioShack Corp., a national retailer of technology products, services and accessories, announced America's Mobile Makeover Month by RadioShack, the retailer's latest program to help consumers keep up with mobile technology without breaking the bank.
According to a release, starting April 1 through April 28, through this special promotion RadioShack guarantees customers at least $30 and as much as $300 in immediate store credit when they trade in a working mobile phone and activate a new one.
A recent survey commissioned by RadioShack found more than 90 million American adults have unused technology products lying around the house. In addition, a third of mobile phone users report owning unused phones, and more than half of those with unused phones own two or more. RadioShack encourages customers to do a little spring cleaning starting this weekend, clearing out the clutter, freeing up useful storage space and preparing to unlock the value of their unused mobile phones.
"We all have hidden tech treasures in our homes. RadioShack is excited to give consumers an incentive to unlock that value," said Gene M. Dinkens, senior vice president of store operations for RadioShack. "America's Mobile Makeover Month by RadioShack issues a challenge to dig deep in that junk drawer, clean out that closet, check under the couch and stop your tech-hoarding habits. Bring us your old products so we can help the entire country save millions this April."
