Eircom boss to step down ; TELECOMS [Mirror (UK)]

(Mirror (UK) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) THE chief of telecoms firm Eircom will step down at the end of the year, it was announced yesterday.

A statement from the firm said Paul Donovan's decision was for personal reasons.

Eircom is awaiting the outcome today of a vote by senior lenders on a proposal aimed at restructuring the company's EUR3.75billion of debt.
