She will lead a business unit delivering expertise in areas that include modeling and simulation (M&S), software development, human-systems integration, systems engineering and management support, with customers that span the Department of Defense, civilian agencies and commercial firms. Over the course of her career, Ms. Spoonhour has managed organizations with more than 1,000 employees and revenues exceeding $400 million. She joins Alion from QinetiQ North America, where she was Director of Operations in Orlando, Florida focused on delivering simulation and training solutions. Previously, she held operational roles at Science Applications International Corporation, where she rose to the position of Sr. Vice President for Operations within that company s Defense Solutions Group. Earlier in her career, she held program and project management positions with companies focused on image generation, M&S and training, including Quantum3D and Nations, a BTG Company.
