HTC Released First Windows Phone 7.5 Phone in China


BEIJING, Mar 21, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- HTC today released the first-type 4.7-inch touch screen mobile phone Windows Phone 7.5 in Mainland China.

The phone, called "HTC Triumph", will start presale in more than 400 stores of Suning in China, suning.com and other channels and start formal sale in China from March 28. The retail price of a bare machine is CNY 4,399.

"HTC Triumph" adopts 1.5GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 16GB memory, 8 million pixel camera and 1.3 million pre-camera and 4.7-inch touch screen with 480x800 resolution; is equipped with Windows Phone 7.5 operating system and built-in e-mail, Office and other Mobile office tools and supports Microsoft's Sky Drive cloud space. In addition, users can update the latest information of friends in the standby interface with the "contacts" feature of Windows Phone and keep in touch with friends with SMS, microblogging, Windows Live ID and other software.



Currently, HTC is talking with China Unicom on the customization of the first-type Windows Phone "HTC Triumph".
