Multiband Corporation Selects Trimble GeoManager for Fleet Management

Trimble announced that Multiband Corporation, a home service satellite TV provider, will be implementing Trimble GeoManager Fleet Management across its fleet of vehicles.
"Using Trimble GeoManager, we believe we can enhance customer service with improved appointment scheduling and faster response times," said Bob Kofoed, vice president of Workforce Management for Multiband, in a release.
"We choose Trimble because of its continued innovation and investment in fleet management solutions that can drive significant productivity improvements. Now with integrated vehicle tracking and scheduling, we will be able to build upon our initiatives in customer service and cost-savings by easily and efficiently managing our fleet."
According to a release, Multiband will also be deploying Trimble's TVG-660 in-vehicle device that combines Global Positioning System and wireless technology to provide accurate location and diagnostic information.
"GeoManager will provide Multiband with a platform that can deliver increased value to its customers, through more efficient scheduling and reduced operational costs," said Mark Forrest, general manager of Trimble's Field Service Management Division. "We look forward to supporting Multiband in keeping their service satisfaction high and expenses low."
Trimble's Field Service Management Division provides visibility into field and fleet operations.
Trimble provides solutions focused on applications requiring position or location, including surveying, construction, agriculture, fleet and asset management, public safety and mapping.
