Ringdale Unveils New Platform for Sharp OSA Enabled Multi-Function Printers

Mar 16, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Ringdale, a provider of secure document output management solutions, announced the release of the FollowMe Embedded for Sharp product.

The Company reported that the release provides end users with a fully integrated FollowMe Printing solution on all Sharp OSA (Open Systems Architecture) enabled multi-function printers (MFPs).

Ringdale said its FollowMe Embedded for Sharp leverages the capabilities of Sharp OSA embedded platform, removing the need for external hardware and provides an all-in-one solution for copy, print, email, fax and scan services. The interface provides integrated single sign on (SSO) authentication and FollowMe Printing's secure print job roaming technology, offers a highly scalable solution to any organization.

FollowMe's integrated Business Intelligence Engine (BIE) gives organizations enterprise-wide dynamic policy controls, which can be applied per user, department or MFP. Policies can be used to dynamically convert e-mails to black and white, route large print jobs to higher capacity output devices, as well as providing control through the built-in scripting engine to intelligently meet the most complex of business needs.
