Coverity to Demonstrate Development Testing for Security at RSA 2012

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Coverity, the leader in development testing, announced today that it will demonstrate its solution for finding and fixing security vulnerabilities during development at RSA Conference 2012, Booth #555.

Coverity helps development organizations find and fix software defects that can lead to catastrophic failures and security vulnerabilities as code is written. By automating code testing in development with Coverity, security vulnerabilities are presented to developers in the same way as quality defects, in the existing workflow and with actionable remediation guidance to help them easily fix issues without requiring deep security expertise.

During RSA 2012, Coverity Senior Security Research Scientist Chris Valasek will participate in a panel discussion on browser security, presenting research conducted with three security experts at Accuvant LABS on the defensive capabilities of the three most widely used browsers - Internet Explorer, Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
