National Government Services Selected as Key Information Technology Partner in Department of Veterans Affairs Contract

National Government Services, Inc. (NGS) has been awarded the opportunity to participate in an important Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract issued by the US Department of Veterans Affairs. NGS will be working with By Light Professional IT Services, Inc. (By Light), a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that has been ranked one of the fastest growing government contractors by Washington Technology.

The IDIQ is part of the Department of Veterans Affairs' Transformation Twenty One Total Technology Program (T4). NGS has served as a Medicare contractor with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for 45 years. In 2010, NGS processed over 183.9 million Medicare claims and administered benefits of more than $79.8 billion from the Medicare Trust Fund. The Veterans Affairs' IDIQ represents the first time NGS has secured a major partnership outside of CMS.
