Before joining Burson-Marsteller, Miranda worked for Patri, a local firm, where he was associate director and was responsible for providing counseling to leading companies in various industries. Prior to Patri, he began his career as a public affairs director for Abiove, the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries.
