Oracle to acquire TaleoFeb 10, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Oracle Corporation, an enterprise software company, has entered into an agreement to acquire Taleo Corporation, a provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, at a price of $46 per share. The transaction is valued at approximately $1,900 million, net of Taleo's cash and debt. Both the companies are based in the US. The offer price represents a premium of 18.13% to Taleo's closing share price on February 8, 2012. The Board of Directors of Taleo has unanimously approved the transaction. The transaction is expected to close mid-year 2012, subject to Taleo stockholder approval, certain regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
