GeoEngineers' Applied Technology Group Adds IT Leader


(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 09 February 2012 Release date- 08022012 - GeoEngineers is pleased to announce that Darrin S. Farmer has joined the company as an Associate and Applied Technology Group Leader.

After relocating from California with his family, he will be based in GeoEngineers' Tacoma (WA) office. In his new position, Darrin will manage a group of GIS analysts, environmental data managers and CAD designers who play critical roles in the company's consulting projects.

Darrin brings 14 years of experience in the information and technology (IT) services industry, and was most recently Client Services Manager and Engagement Manager at Weston Solutions, Inc. in Roseville, California. His expertise includes geographic information systems (GIS), asset management systems, operations, account and project management, application development, and system integration and deployment, gained at large and small IT solutions firms in California, Utah, Texas and Washington.

Darrin holds a Bachelor of Science in geography from the University of Utah, where he also undertook master's level studies in GIS. He is President Elect of the NorCal Chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), a nonprofit association for professionals using GIS and other information technologies to solve challenges within government agencies and departments.
