Alcatel-Lucent unveils extended portfolio of customer experience software and services


Feb 07, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Networking and communications technology, products and services provider Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris:ALU)(NYSE:ALU) launched on Tuesday an extended portfolio of software and services designed to improve the experience that consumers have with their connected devices.

According to the company, the Motive Customer Experience Solutions (CXS) portfolio is designed to address the consumer experience, providing a suite of software and expert services to help communications service providers manage their customer relationships over a wide range of touchpoints.

The Motive CXS portfolio is made up of four solution suites, each of which addresses key touchpoints in the relationship between communications service providers and their customers.


Motive CX Management is focused on getting new devices, applications and services up and running quickly, by simplifying their introduction on the network, managing upgrades and service modifications and providing a consistent experience for customers.

Motive CX Analytics provides monitoring tools that track the performance of the devices, applications and services running on the network, Motive CX Optimization helps communications service providers to improve the customer experience while making better use of network capacity, while CX Consulting consists of a dedicated team that identifies opportunities to improve the wide range of customer experience touch points within a service provider organisation.
