Black Box Corporation Acquires InnerWireless


Feb 03, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Black Box Corporation, a communications system integrator dedicated to designing, sourcing, implementing and maintaining communications solutions, announced that it has acquired InnerWireless.

In a release dated Jan. 31, Chris McCoy, former Chief Financial Officer of InnerWireless, said, "We are very excited to merge our advanced wireless capabilities with the broad geographic footprint and deep organic resources of Black Box. The InnerWireless team has built a unique and valuable value proposition in the DAS market. As part of Black Box, we will be able to combine our efforts to bring our solutions to a larger, growing market." The Company said InnerWireless is the first Black Box acquisition in the in-building wireless market. InnerWireless enables mission and life critical in-building wireless. The InnerWireless Horizon4G Distributed Antenna System delivers guaranteed wireless coverage and engineered capacity for maintaining mobile connectivity and optimizing wireless service levels. InnerWireless sells and services solutions throughout the continental U.S.
