Andrew Binns Joins Xchanging Executive BoardLONDON, January 24, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- New Executive Director for Technology Services business Xchanging plc ("Xchanging"), the business process and technology services provider and integrator, has announced that Andrew Binns was appointed Executive Director of its Technology Services business, with effect from 3 January 2012. Based in London, Andrew will also be a member of the Xchanging Executive Board, reporting directly to chief executive Ken Lever. The focus of Xchanging's Technology Services business is on providing flexible, innovative services which embrace leading edge technologies. Our software services are consumed by 160 brokers and insurers in the commercial insurance market globally. We also provide complex, critical, high availability systems to a number of the UK's national infrastructures. Our network and security systems integrator, Data Integration, specialises in network security, mobility solutions and high performance networks and currently serves more than 300 customers in the UK. Benefitting from Xchanging's strong presence in insurance BPO and from ownership of its own IP, Xchanging is a leading provider of software solutions in the commercial insurance market both in the UK and the US. Andrew brings a strong track record of growing software and service businesses as well as of managing complex infrastructure systems and delivering value to shareholders in the financial and technology sectors. He will be working closely with our insurance business to deliver our modernisation programmes. Prior to joining Xchanging, Andrew was CEO of global services at Temenos Group, a market leading provider of packaged banking software. During his tenure Andrew implemented a new global business strategy resulting in business growth and the development of offshore centres. Other senior roles previously held by Andrew include Managing Director of Aon BPO and Consulting; Chief Executive of software company Netengines, and Director of the managed services division of ICL (now Fujitsu).
