Financial details of the deployment were not available. The first deployment is expected to begin in February 2012 with a distributor operating over 700 locations. Retail food and gas store locations nationwide will use SMS and other forms of mobile communications to alert consumers about local offers, promotions and other information. The company's SaaS solution, which is compatible with all wireless carriers and mobile operating systems such as Android, BlackBerry and iOS, will allow the store operator to reach its customers directly without the hassle of creating different specifications for each carrier. Managing mobile campaigns and consumer mobile relationships is facilitated via an on-demand, Web-based solution that enables local, regional, or national store operators with the ability to deploy mobile marketing campaigns in minutes, the company said.
