Former Microsoft Executive David Scult Joins Fonality as Chief Executive Officer

Fonality (News - Alert), North America's fastest growing business communications company, has recently appointed David Scult, an innovative and highly regarded IT executive, as the company's next chief executive officer. 

'David is a seasoned executive whose proven expertise with both large and small firms will be an incredible asset to support Fonality's upward trajectory,' said Paul Weinstein, general partner, Azure Capital Partners and Fonality board member, in a release.

In his new role as CEO, Scult will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day-operations, as well as the strategic direction of Fonality's product development and sales functions.

Scult's vast industry experience will help Fonality fulfill ambitious goals, such as global expansion and even stronger innovation. 

Before joining Fonality, he served as general manager of Microsoft (News - Alert) -- Office 365. There, he was responsible for global distribution of Microsoft Information Worker products in the cloud, including SharePoint, Exchange and Office. 

Officials said that in addition to his role at Microsoft, Scult brings broad executive experience working with large enterprises to more entrepreneurial ventures and has consistently been at the forefront of innovation in business productivity.
