Fennessy as eInstruction's new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Steve Kaye, the company's Chief Executive Officer since 2008, will serve as the Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors.



Most recently, Fennessy was the Chairman and CEO of SocialWhirled, Inc. and PeopleJar, Inc., two early stage internet companies focused on making social media more meaningful and engaging for people, brands and advertising agencies. Prior to these entrepreneurial experiences, Fennessy was President and CEO of Insight Enterprises, Inc., an IT solutions company that he led into the Fortune 500 during his five-year tenure. Before joining Insight Enterprises, Inc. in 2004, Fennessy spent 17 years at IBM, holding several senior level executive positions domestically and internationally. His most recent position was General Manager of ibm.com, IBM's online business in 83 countries throughout the world.
