ISRAEL,UNITED STATES : Elbit Systems gets $50 million deal for Hermes 900 UAV [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Elbit Systems Ltd., Israel based leading global defense electronics manufacturer and integrator, obtained $50 million deal from an unnamed country in Americas. As per this deal, Elbit Systems will be responsible to provide Hermes 900 Unmanned Aerial vehicle (UAV). The company will also provide various systems including Universal Ground Control Stations (UGCS), Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop's highly advanced DCoMPASS payload systems, and satellite communication systems. Elbit Systems stated that, UAV will run in different perimeter security missions over a project period of about 1-year. Hermes 900 provides a range of improved capabilities, from higher flight altitude (up to 30,000 ft) to longer endurance and larger payload capacity.
