As per this deal, Blue Trading Systems will deploy Informatica Ultra Messaging software for its high-performance options trading platform. With this deployment, Blue Trading Systems can offer smaller options trading organizations with a single, trustworthy and near-instantaneous messaging platform. Using this software, BTS can develop a high-frequency, algorithmic trading platform which can consistently manage millions of messages a second as well as support client deployments which can flawlessly scale from two to more than 200 servers and from two to more than 2,000 message recipients. Informatica Ultra Messaging offers BTS with sub-millisecond messaging across its trading platform, using a messaging architecture. This will allow BTS to boost the speed, reliability and scalability. The software also supports several transport protocols, such as multi-cast and TCP, allowing network administrators to effortlessly and dynamically choose the best protocol for different messaging configurations.
