BANGLADESH : BTRC - Bangladesh's 6 Cell Phone Operators Offered 1.634 Million New Connections In November 2011 Alone [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has stated that the nation's six cell phone operators offered 1.634 million new connections in November 2011 alone.

The volume of customers of the cell phone firms Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi, Airtel, Citycell, Teletalk at the end of last November hit 36.113 million, 23.367 million, 15.855 million, 5.801 million, 1.739 million and 1.198 million respectively.

Bangladesh's mobile phone subscribers amounted to 82.442 million by the close of November 2011 with over 15 million new consumers in the first eleven months of 2011.
