Gilat Awarded Internet Broadband Connectivity Contract in Colombia for Schools Worth $18.5M(Benzinga Lightning Feed Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (Nasdaq: GILT), today announced that it has been awarded a new contract by the Colombian Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication to provide broadband Internet connectivity to over 1,600 schools throughout the country's rural regions.
