PlayStation Vita sales surpass 320,000 in 2 days since release(Japan Economic Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TOKYO, Dec. 20 -- (Kyodo) _ Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.'s PlayStation Vita portable gaming device sold some 321,400 units in the two days since its release Saturday, according to data released Tuesday by game magazine publisher Enterbrain Inc. The latest figure compares with the 3DS game console by Sony Computer Entertainment's rival Nintendo Co. that sold some 371,300 units in the two days following its release on Feb. 26, according to the publisher. The PlayStation Vita console, which comes in two models priced at 29,980 yen and 24,980 yen, can be used to play music and videos while allowing users to take and view photographs as well.
