The Open House will be from 11:00am to 5:00pm. The new facility located at 1050 Hull Street in Baltimore, Maryland, contiguous to their first data center at Under Armour's Tide Point commercial office park, operates as part of a seamless network of eight (8) virtually integrated data centers in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. The new facility will immediately become part of the multi-city network of data centers via connection to a fully redundant 10Gig fiber backbone, which facilitates tegrated disaster recovery and backup solutions for the company's customers. Features of the new Data Center include an additional 6,000 square feet of raised floor space, dual power feeds, redundant 400 kVa Liebert UPS systems, 220 tons of cooling, two 800 KW Caterpillar diesel generators and of course, DataPoint's standard 24x7 live local support. During the Open House, members of the DataPoint executive management team will be on hand to greet visitors, give tours, and answer questions. Systems, Network and Electrical Engineers will also be on-site to provide technical overviews and to answer specific questions from invited guests from the local IT/IS business community.
