Expedia and United Airlines sign multi-year agreementDec 06, 2011 (AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION via COMTEX) -- Online travel company Expedia Inc said today that it has entered into a new multi-year agreement with United Airlines, giving access to all United and Continental fares, schedules and inventory to travellers booking on Expedia.com and Hotwire. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Expedia and United intend to work together on merchandising and promotional programmes designed to maximise exposure for United's products. In addition, as part of the agreement United will give its customers online access at http://www.united.com to nearly 145,000 hotels via the Expedia Affiliate Network.
