Silverstring Teams with ATS Group to Offer Galileo Performance ExplorerDec 02, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- ATS Group announced a partnership with Silverstring, a UK-based provider specializing in storage management and data protection solutions for mid- to large-sized enterprises. According to a release, the partnership will enable Silverstring to offer its customers Galileo Performance Explorer (Galileo PE) system performance monitoring, which is designed to optimize capacity utilization and performance planning for AIX based servers and IBM Storage systems. "Our partnership with Silverstring extends our market coverage in providing a full suite of tools to service providers specializing in IBM server and storage infrastructure," said Tim Conley, co-founder and principal partner of ATS Group. "The Galileo solution is ideal for mid- to large-sized companies that want to perform deeper analysis and simplify their administration of IBM AIX servers and IBM storage systems. Galileo, of course, also supports Linux and Windows infrastructures." Galileo accelerates performance analysis of server and storage hardware and virtualization environments. Built on a SaaS architecture, it automates the collection of infrastructure performance data and provides graphical reporting through a web interface. Within the Predatar Suite, Silverstring is rebranding Galileo as Predatar Performance Tracker. "We made the decision to partner with ATS Group because their technology compliments our Predatar Suite very well. ATS shares the same design ethos of simplicity and ease of use as we do, and like Silverstring in the UK, they are the best at what they do," said Alistair Mackenzie, chief executive officer of Silverstring.
