Tendril Names David Rayner CFO
BOULDER, Colo. --(Business Wire)--
Tendril,
the provider of the cloud platform for the Energy Internet, today
announced that David Rayner has joined the company as chief financial
officer (CFO). Rayner brings with him more than 20 years of leadership
experience in the communications industry, helping companies such as
EchoStar, DISH Network, tw telecom inc. (formerly Time Warner (News - Alert) Telecom)
and Time Warner Cable achieve high growth and long-term profitability.
Mark Pougnet, who has served as Tendril's CFO since 2008, will
transition into the newly created role of chief delivery officer (CDO).

Rayner has worked in a variety of management roles at some of the most
successful companies in the communications industry, most recently as
the CFO at EchoStar Corporation. Prior to his work at EchoStar, he held
executive level positions at DISH Network Corporation, including serving
as CFO. In these roles, Rayner oversaw multi-billion dollar budgets and
managed workforces in the tens of thousands. Previously, Rayner served
as the senior vice president and CFO for Time Warner Telecom (News - Alert), Inc., and
he oversaw the company's successful IPO in 1999, as well as raising
several billion dollars in debt financing. Rayner has also held
additional financial and operating positions at Time Warner Cable after
starting his caree at Arthur Andersen & Co., and served on the board of
Terrestar Corporation, a publicly traded satellite communications
company.

Pougnet held executive financial positions at several companies in
diverse technology industries, including Copan Systems, Arthur Andersen
& Co., and Avaya (News - Alert).
