The GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide. The group focuses on the study from a compatibility and interoperability perspective of the transition from 2.5 to 3G to LTE. Roaming & Interconnect over LTE (RILTE) group whose goal is to understand the impact of the addition of LTE and EPC to the existing roaming ecosystem. IWG, Interconnect Working Group, that has the overall responsibility for interconnection and interworking related matters aimed at improving the quality of operator interconnection and interworking relationships worldwide between operators and third parties, and between operators themselves.
