Trilliant Debuts Consumer-Engagement Solutions


Nov 10, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Trilliant, a smart grid communications provider, announced the availability of the Trilliant Consumer-Engagement Solutions.

"Engaging customers in their energy consumption is one of the most critical benefits of a smart grid," said Rob Conant, chief marketing officer for Trilliant, in a release.

"However, finding simple, holistic, interoperable solutions has previously been difficult. This new offering provides a platform for a simpler rollout of consumer programs, with proven interoperability on a variety of electricity meters and in-home devices and systems." This interoperable standard-based product combines Trilliant's UnitySuite software, SecureMesh networking and DDX technology to provide a platform for utilities to enable demand response and energy awareness programs.



The solutions, built on Trilliant's UnitySuite DSM Enterprise Software and run across Trilliant's SecureMesh network, use Trilliant's DDX technology.

Trilliant is backed by investors ABB, GE, Investor Growth Capital, MissionPoint Capital Partners, UMC Capital, VantagePoint Capital Partners and zouk ventures.
