Talk Focus partners DiGi to launch `Tron' [New Straits Time (Malaysia)](New Straits Time (Malaysia) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian telecommunications company Talk Focus Sdn Bhd signed a partnership agreement with DiGi Telecommunications (DiGi) for a new Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) known as "Tron", which will offer a unique voice and data pay plan. Targeted at the young, the lifestyle-based Tron will be the first in Malaysia to offer an unconditional 365-day validity for top-ups in addition to rewards for subscribers for using their mobile devices with redeemable Tron Points that can be used to acquire a range of items. Chief executive officer of Talk Focus, Steven Loke, said "Despite being a new player in the domestic MVNO market, Tron has a competitive edge because of its flagship year-long credit validity, its numerous incentives, and the development of our own Tron user community." "We plan to grow the Average Revenue Per User by leveraging the growing use of mobile Internet and smart devices by consumers in Malaysia, particularly among young Malaysians who are heavy users of social media," said Loke.
