Route1 Enhances Its Security Features and ProtocolsNov 04, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Route1 Inc., a security and identity management company, announced from the ACFEA TechNet Asia-Pacific Conference and Expo the release of its TruOffice 3.5 software application. A secure remote access solution, the Company noted that TruOffice 3.5 comes with enhanced security features and protocols, including: -The TruOffice application software data sessions now utilize the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.1 protocol by default -The TruOffice application software now includes enhanced protection mechanisms while operating in hostile environments -The MobiKEY Fusion device now supports SHA-2 smart cards and data sessions to 64-bit Host computers -Performance of the MobiKEY Fusion device's communication with the smart card has been significantly improved. "TruOffice 3.5 is another strong example of how Route1 continues to deliver secure remote access technology that provides government and enterprise personnel the flexibility, functionality and high security to work anywhere, at any time by deploying our single integrated solution," said Tony Busseri, Route1's CEO. Route1 said that users of TruOffice 3.0 or later will be notified directly through their MobiKey Classic or MobiKey Fusion device that a software update is available.
